Laghi di Fusine

Laghi di Fusine
Forest Bathing in North Eastern Italy

Is forest bathing a kind of wild swimming? You bet it is! Especially when glacial lakes at the foot of stunning Alpine peaks are involved.

The Laghi di Fusine are two small lakes in north-eastern Italy only a few kilometres away from the border with Slovenia and Austria.

They sit below the Julian Alps and Mangart, Slovenia's third highest mountain peak and part of the border between Italy and Slovenia.

The water was crystal clear and in the very late summer/early autumn the lakes were a great place for some forest bathing , as opposed to actual bathing.
